Since 2001 The Old Library Centre has been run by volunteers as a community facility for Kilbarchan and the surrounding area. As a registered charity, we offer classes in yoga, pilates, bridge and computing.

Our community room is available for hire. This room is suitable for business meetings, conferences and training sessions and can accommodate up to 40 people. It is equipped with Wi-Fi and projection facilities. There is car parking in the vicinity of the centre which is easily accessed from the M8. Buffets can be provided.

Our computer suite has 10 computer stations and is suitable for training courses.

The community room hosts live concerts, art displays and social gatherings. Several well known musicians have played here.

The reading room serves as a drop in centre and is also suitable for meetings of up to 14 persons, with tea and coffee available at a small charge.
